4 Things

Its time for another round of 4 things that you didn't know about us.

1. Alex and I never speak on the phone - mostly because I am the one that hates it.  I really and truly do not like talking on the phone.  Alex thinks that it is a good trait of mine, because he missed out on long phone conversations when we were dating.


2. We have a boring old couple routine after work - I come home from work around 6 and settle down into bed and watch an episode of my fav TV show One Tree Hill.  Then Alex comes home at 7:30ish.  We have a conversation about school and work and eat dinner.  Then we both get in comfy clothes and watch episodes of whatever show we are blowing through on Netflix.  Currently it's Parks and Rec {Have you watched this show? It is so good!}.  We watch a few episodes and usually are asleep by 10:30.  We have such a fun life right?


3. I could never decide what I wanted to be "when I grew up" - I have wanted to be a judge, a first grade teacher, a pediatrician, a senator, a writer and Pocahontas; just to name a few.  And I gave most of them a good try: I did a job shadow of a pediatrician and I learned I don't have the stomach of a doctor, I taught primary and learned that I get anxiety from teaching, I was Judge for a Day and realized that its more studying laws then being a cool judge.  The only thing I didn't try to be was Pocahontas... maybe I should have gone that route.


4. One of Alex's secret favorite movies is Despicable Me - he makes fun of me for liking kids movies, but he seriously loves that movie.  Some of his favorite parts of the movie are the minions and Vector.  But he really watches for Agnes.  Sometimes he sings one of Agnes's songs in the shower. And every time he sees her he says "Can we have a doodie just like her?" {He loves her so much that when I turned on the video below, he jumped on the bed and scooted over to me just so he could watch}
