Bear Lake

This past weekend I went to Bear Lake with Alex and his family.

Let me tell you, it was SOOOOOO much fun!

When I was in Delta I finally had the courage to go out of the wake.  So I just assumed that I would be able to do it again.  So after Chandler and Austin got out in the water and killed it, I decided to show off my new wakeboarding skills.

First time I tried I totally fell as I was leaving the wake.  But like a trooper I got up and tried it again. 

Second time was a success.  I got out of the wake - but when I tried to get back into the wake that's when all heck broke loose.  I caught air - yes CAUGHT AIR - and just faceplanted it into the water.  Soo great. 

I didn't want to seem like a wimp so I got back up again but was too scared to attempt to do anything cool so I just rode for a little while then let go and finished gracefully.

When I got back in the boat Austin was like "wow I was impressed, I even thought - she is going to try and jump the wake".  I am glad I looked like I was trying to jump the wake, that is totally not what I was intending to do.

Despite being RIDICULOUSLY sore I had a great time.  The Harris family is so much fun!


Other than boating we did lots of fun things:

• we napped
• read books
• played games
• spent time relaxing
• and took the traditional Harris Family Jumping picture (well they jumped, I photographed)
