Graduation Weekend Getaway

Since Alex made a major life move by graduating from college last week.  We decided to celebrate by spending the weekend away.  We ended up getting a room at the Silverado Lodge at the Canyons Resort and had a blast!

The resort was really empty and the weather was amazing.  Which made for a great weekend.  We were even lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves the whole time we were there on Saturday afternoon.

Our weekend was full of all of these fun things:

• The first thing we did Friday night was get in the hot tub of the hotel, it was empty until a bunch of teenage girls invaded to take jumping selfies.
• Alex woke up at the crack of dawn because... {who knows why!}
• We ate breakfast at Squatters
• We went shopping at the Outlet's and scored some good deals
• We stocked up on candy, ice cream, muffins, and soda
• We sat by an empty pool, basking in the sunlight for hours
• Alex got sunburned {shocker}
• We caught up on our celebrity magazines
• We both took a nap {which unlike myself, Alex NEVER does}
• We went to a sports bar to watch the RSL game
• I finally hit up the TJ Maxx in Park City, holy amazing!
• We spend more time in the pool and the hot tub {until we got kicked out by maintenance like unruly teenagers!}
• We went and took shooting lessons at the Park City Gun club {me, not excited.  Alex: basically the highlight of his life}
• we relaxed
• we celebrated my boys big accomplishment {still so so proud}

And like I said, our weekend was wonderful.  Graduation trips are pretty great if you don't have shingles...
