Catch Up

Hello everyone.  I have been MIA lately. Mostly due to pure laziness.  But also partly due to the fact that the Harris family has been hit with a cold.

But I am back, with a quick little catch up on our life!

Working Out - I posted about the fitness challenge that I am doing right now, and have already completed one full week!  Part of the challenge is to implement a work out regime 5 days a week.  So Alex and I have decided that Monday, Wednesday and Friday we would work on abs, legs, arms, etc {at home cause we are too cheap for a gym membership}.  Then on Tuesday and Thursday we will go out running.  Hopefully we can stick to the plan and exercise more!

Brackets - The Harris family spent half an hour Sunday night picking out our choices for the annual March Madness contest.  Austin/Sarah and me and Alex ended up calling in for the big selection.  {Which was more confusing because all the Harris women sound the same on the phone, and so do the boys!}.  Alex and I are reigning champs, so lets hope we picked good teams this year!

Sick -  Last week as we were heading out for a run, Alex mentioned he had a sore throat.  Then the next day I woke up with a full blown cold and no voice.  Slowly but surely the cold has taken control of both Alex and I.  We both didn't sleep very well Monday night because we couldn't breath.  It's definitely been pleasant in our neck of the woods. 

Shopping Trip - Friday night I was invited to a Toms/Clothes party at my friend Liz's neighbors house.  So I went all prepared to buy something {we have been cutting WAY back on non-necessary expenses lately due to us being a one income family for the time being, but thanks to a tax return and a bonus I had a little wiggle room to spend frivolously.}.  I didn't end up buying anything at the party but scored a sweet swimsuit for Alex, earrings, a new green v neck, and some new pink shoes.  I was happy with my haul and it was nice not to just have to window shop.

Spring Football - Utah starting practicing for Spring Football today.  And its making Alex excited.  Because nothing makes him happier than football.
