4 Things

Happy Friday everyone!

This time of year is my favorite.  First of all, Thanksgiving is hands down my favorite holiday.  And second, my birthday is the 29th so its always a party in November for me!  I also love that it is time for hot chocolate and cuddling up next to the fire {we have a fireplace that we can't figure out... maybe we should get on that!}

Enough of my weird rant about this time of year, it is time for four things!

1.  Giving Things Away - Wednesday night I spent time going through every little nook and cranny of our apartment to gather stuff to give to the D.I.  I really love giving things to the D.I., I inherited that from my mom.  It is always a relief to get rid of the clothes that are too small, shoes that you don't wear, and random stuff that we never use.  I managed to get a ton of stuff into our pile and I even convinced Alex to take it all over there for me!

2.  New Job - I could honestly not like my new job any more than I do.  I know I have talked about this before but seriously, its awesome.  The department I work in now has a totally different atmosphere.  The people I work with are super cool.  And my boss compliments at least one part of my outfit per day, so its a confidence booster.  Yesterday I even told Alex that I like it so much, I might keep working and he can be a stay at home dad {jk, but maybe..}. Overall, I am so glad for the change!

3.  Alex - Guys, this might be cheesy, and I might have written about this the past two days.  But I am seriously digging the kid lately.  I don't know what it is but he just makes being married to him pretty fun.  You are seriously missing out.
4.  Still anti-Christmas before Dec. 1 - I know I seem like a Scrooge but there is no Christmas cheer for me until the actual month of December.  Our tree will not go up until at least Dec. 1 {and maybe not until after that!}. I am firm on this belief, and don't you forget it!

Also - hipster husband.
