4 Things

Hey guys! It's Friday and boy am I excited for the weekend.  So far we don't have anything super big planned.  Tomorrow, I am playing soccer with HEQ for the Corporate Games, and Saturday Alex is going to pick his Fantasy Football team.  So its a sports oriented weekend {but that is not unusual in the Harris house}

1. We have started a new tradition - in case you missed the yesterday's post, I mentioned that marriage takes work.  So we have started having weekly "marriage breakdowns".  During these conversations we chat about things we liked that the other one did this week, things we didn't like, what we could do to improve our relationship.  {Alex even participates!} So far we have made some good progress.  My favorite part is talking about the things that the other did to make each other happy.





2. Last Weekend -  we watched our nieces and it was really fun, a little crazy, but fun.  Alex even changed his very first diaper!  We sure love those little girls so it was fun to get a little one on one {two on two?} time with them. {A post about our time with the girls will be coming next week}





3. A little redecorating has happened - I have been sprucing up the place lately and after a year, I think we are finally where we should be in this cute little "home" of ours.  Alex got a new dresser {an upgrade from the bookshelf he was storing his pants in before}, we created a nice little "catch all" area by our front door, and our office is starting to be more of an office/craft area rather than a junk room.





4. Disneyland - Our friends Erin, Gabe, Catherine and Cameron have been having fun at Disneyland the past few days.  And it has really given me the urge to go.  Someone please convince my husband to take me there, and soon! {Like maybe for fall break?}
