Planner

Does anyone else get excited about a new day planner like I do? It is seriously one of my favorite things {nerd alert}. 

There is just something about having a calender that just makes my life so much easier.  Every January I can't wait to go and pick up a new planner {Like the way that fall makes Joe Fox want to go out and buy school supplies}

Last January I switched things up, and I decided to buy a regular wall and handle the rest of my scheduling on my phone. But it just wasn't really working out - I put the wall calender in our "office/second bedroom" but I was just never in there, so it was unused.  And using my phone just wasn't the same. 

By a stroke of luck {and Targets apparent attempts to make you buy a calender more often} the wall calender only went from January to June.  So that gave me an excuse to fix my mistake and go out and purchase myself a new planner.

Monday I stopped in Target to get a fan for our apartment {which has been so hot lately}, I wandered over to the office supplies section and got myself a new planner.

And now all is right in the calender aspect of my life.

                                     

{please note that I do pencil in the Utah football games in my calender.  They are a big deal in our house}
