We went to Mexico!

Alex and I were pretty lucky in the honeymoon department.  We got to have over a week of doing absolutely nothing but be with each other and relax.  After our wedding (which was on a Wednesday) we had 11 days of honeymooning.

We spent the first night at the Anniversary Inn.  We were in a room that had a dragon in the shower and the bed was held up by elephants. Sadly I forgot to take pictures… oops! Then we went back to the ever so glamorous Harris apartment. We spent the next few days there – not really doing anything, but it was great. Then Saturday night we caught a plane to California – where we had the always exciting middle of the night room change (because of a broken toilet). Sunday morning we took a taxi into Long Beach and hopped on board the super cool Carnival Splendor and were on our way to Mexico!

And that was followed by a week of:

·         Lounging

·         Eating

·         Napping

·         Eating

·         a search through Cabo for tacos al pastor

·         Eating

·         A semi-sketchy truck ride through Puerto Vallarta followed by the best canopy tour ever!

·         And more eating
